Let Me Help You Spend Your Money

I'm sure we all have struggled with having far too much money recently. One of the most common things I hear my friends and family complain about is not knowing what to do with all their extra pocket change. It has been more difficult in the past year than ever before to find places to spend it all. Rent, food, home office supplies, speedy wifi... it just isn't enough!
Fret not, my friends, for I have composed a detailed list of items that will help YOU spend your money FAST.
All jokes aside, this year has been tough for many. Money has caused widespread stress. If you or someone you know is struggling financially, I am going to include links HERE to resources that may help you during the crisis.
1. Cosmetics
One category of items that is quick to eat up all the money in my account is cosmetics products. I have recently experimented with some products that I absolutely adore and want to share.
It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product - $37.99
This product is one of my all-time-favorites. I am constantly changing my hair from dark to light and back again. It caused a lot of damage throughout time, but after I began using this product, it has made a load of difference. I use about a nickel-sized amount after each wash when my hair is nearly dry. It acts as a heat protectant, hair treatment, or styling product, making it perfect for lazy people like me!
I had the kind of acne that one would not soon forget. I was put on Accutane during my junior year of high school. For the most part, it changed my skin forever. However, within the last year, my acne started to flare up again. Whether it is the masks, stress, or a combination of things, I was getting awfully frustrated with my face. I started using this product 1-2 times weekly, and I have lots of good things to say. I wouldn't say it gets all the credit for my skin clearing up, but it definitely played a role. Not to mention, I love to use any face masque products as a way to relax.
Ariana Grande Cloud Eau de Parfum - $44.00
My mom is a very loyal Juicy Couture perfume wear-er. She has a scent. I associate it with her any time I smell it. Same with my sister! She is more of a Chanel girl, but still, she has a scent. I have never found one I liked enough to want to be associated with me until I found this one. I think the last time I consistently wore perfume was back in elementary school when Ed Hardy was the coolest thing since sliced bread. I am happy to have finally upgraded!
2. Clothing (it is a necessity, after all)
Yes, clothing is considered a necessity in modern society!
BUT! I suppose you could argue that the type and amount of clothing I purchase becomes somewhat of a luxury.
Orolay Thickened Down Jacket - $149.99
Especially if you live somewhere with brutal winters, like the one we are having in Nebraska right now, you need this. It's warm. It's trendy. IT HAS SO MANY POCKETS! Need I go on?
I don't even want to distract from the coat, so I'm just going to move on.
3. Household Gadgets
I don't often feel the need to buy household items, as I do not own a house. However, over half of my gifts in the past year were all Amazon gift cards, and while I am most certainly not complaining, I did need to find a use for them all.
Espresso Machine - $ ???????
Unfortunately, the exact machine that I purchased is no longer listed anywhere on Amazon. The product I linked above appeared to be a close match though, and it had similar reviews. I have saved so much money making my own lattes each morning. My favorite part of my morning routine is making my cup of coffee. You know those fake Food Network shows we all pretend to be on internally while making dinner? It's like that! I've begun to feel like a pro. Keurig can't even touch what an espresso machine has got.
Aroma Rice Cooker - $34.90
This is the same rice cooker my mother, Marlene, uses. If you don't use the same machinery and technique as Marlene, don't even bother cooking rice. It's an abomination.
